Refund and Returns Policy

To ensure we deliver great service to you, our return and refund policy is aligned with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECT). 

In the event that you receive your order and you change your mind about wanting the product, you may return it to our physical address (provided below) within 7 days of delivery. Please note that the reverse logistics costs (return of the product to us) will be at your own cost. Products eligible for return must be in the same condition you received them; unopened/unused and in the original packaging. 

Process for returns 

Should you need to return any of our products, please contact us at info@ophyll.co.za or +27 101 424 971. You are also required to present a copy of your receipt and order confirmation which has your order #, name, email address, and phone number, and your reason for returning the product(s). Should your product meet our criteria and be eligible for a return, we will send instructions on how to return the package and provide a shipping label. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds take up to x business days to be credited back to the original payment method. In the event that you no longer use the previous payment method.

Return and Refund Policy for Defective goods

Upon reception, make it a priority that you inspect the product. Any items with quality issues are eligible for return. To return defective, damaged or incorrect products, please contact us within 7 days at info@ophyll.co.za, we will evaluate the item and ensure we make it up to you :). 

Let’s make it up to you! 

In the event that you receive defective products, we will collect the item from you at zero charges. Our evaluation process for returns involves notifying you once we receive the item, product inspection, evaluation of original proof of purchase, validation of the return, notifying you if the refund is approved and at your choice, either delivery of the correct product (depending on availability) or credit to your account with purchase price within7 days of refund. In the event of refunds, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Mild irritation caused by active ingredients in our products – initial use of skin irritation. Maybe use not more than 3 x a week and then gradually increase if desired. Severe reactions to any of our products, contact and we will definitely resolve issues. Refunds on products causing an adverse reaction will be judged on an individual basis. 

Return of clearance/sales items 

Unless there is a quality issue, the items will be returned or replaced within 7 days of the last date of the last price reduction and within the best before or use by date, as applicable.

Exceptions / non-returnable items 

Only products purchased directly from us are eligible for a return, we will not accept returns of items purchased from retail stores. Please return the items to the supplier you purchased them from. 

Only products returned within 7 days of delivery date will be accepted. 

Used products are not eligible for returns or refunds 

Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable (if applicable).

Products specified as non-returnable or not for resale cannot be returned.

Exchanges/crediting accounts 

To ensure convenience in your experience in shopping with us, we have also included the option to credit your account, once your return is approved, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.
